Static Eliminator :
Introduction :
During the manufacturing process, wherever two materials
which are non-conductive rub with each other relatively high
speed Static Electric Charge is generated
How PLATEX static charge
eliminator works :
Eliminator Bars which are fixed as near as possible to the
material in process, on getting supply from control unit ionize
the surrounding air and because of this Static Electric Charge
is conducted away to the ground.
Application :
Extruded Tube / Film Plant, Tape Plant, Cutting and sealing
machines, printing machines. Textile Processing Machines,
Coating Machines, Photographic Film Processing and cleaning
units.
Yarn Detectors :
Features :
● Contact less sensing of yarn. Hence no additional tension
on yarn.
● Mechanical linkages & wear of moving parts as in
Electromechanical stop motion levers are eliminated
● Increased reliability in detection & trouble free operations
over long periods
● Unaffected by dirt, yarn colours, yarn material & finish
● Various optical sensors designed to suit different
applications
● Compact & rugged design
● Improved sensing area permits sensing of finest of yarns with
improved reliability under extreme conditions of dirt & oil
● Detection can be achieved on all types of moving yarns -
Traversing, Ballooning or yarn moving in straight line
● On detection appropriate control signal can be generated
through allied circuitry to suit specific requirements
● The control logic unit can be mounted in a convenient position
& can be designed to suit specific requirements

Ambient Conditions :
Designed to withstand vibrations & temperature ranging from -5
șC to 50 șC
Optical Weft Feeler Type RTL :
Specially developed to replace
mechanical and electrical feelers, as weaving of filament yarn
prohibits sensing of WEFT with physical contact, which causes
filamentation and WEFT breakages.
Principle :
Reflective tape is a fixed over the pirn at specified position.
the optical sensor is mounted on the slay cap. When the weft is
about to runout, the reflective tape gets exposed. At this
instance the light signal transmitted from the sensor is
reflected back to the sensor. This signal is amplified by the
control circuit to actuate the pirn changing mechanism or to
stop the loom through a solenoid.
Advantages
● It only requires pirn preparation with reflective tape.
No special shuttle or pirn is required.
● Sensing can be done from any direction, hence it has no
limitation of a fixed location.
● It is also suitable for circular looms.

Optical Weft Feelers :
Designed to stop the loom or to
actuate the pirn changing mechanism before weft yarn the pirn
runsout completely
● Provides contactless
sensing of weft yarn.
● Eliminates defects like weft bars., double picks, cracks etc.
● Reduces weft wastage.
● Suitable for weaving quality fabrics in cotton, silk, art
silk, spun yarns, woolen or worsted, filament yarns and
their
blends
● Increases productivity of loom
● Infrared light source and solid state circuitry gives trouble
free service over long periods
● Almost negligible maintenance & repairs/ replacement cost
● Suitable design is available for every type of loom
Optical Weft Feeler Type LPC / LPC IR :
It requires a shuttle with a
closed bottom and a slot. The pirn with a hole or a slot will
align with the shuttle slot when fitted in the shuttle. Light
from the transmitter (incandescent / infrred) monitors weft yarn
condition over the pirn during weaving process. When the weft is
about to runout, light passes through the slot of the pirn & the
shuttle, to the feeler head embedded in the slay. Electrical
signal thus produced is amplified in the the feeler head
embedded in the slay. Electrical signal thus produced is
amplified in the control circuit to energize the solenoid
through relay contact. this solenoid is suitably mounted on the
loom to disengage the startling handle for stopping the loom
Salient Features
● Indispensable for Dobby and Jacquard design weaving.
● No bunch winding is required
● Suitable for non-automatic power looms and automatic
shuttle changing looms.

Electrical Warp Stop
Motion :
Salient Design Features
● Designed to achieve cent percent efficiency
● Suitable for all types of shuttle looms and shuttleless looms.
● Universal application for weaving quality fabrics of cotton,
silk, art silk, woolen or worsted, spun, filament and
their blends
● Spark free positive detection of fallen dropper pin
irrespective of fluff accumulation over the electrodes.
● Conversion of Mechanical Warp Stop Motion to electrical warp
stop motion is possible with minimum modifications.
● All types of dropper pins can be used
The electrode strips provided in
place of conventional serrated bars / insulated bars act as
upper electrode. In addition a reciprocating Lower Electrode is
provided below the dropper pins. No sooner a warp end breaks,
the pin falls and makes contact with the reciprocating lower
electrode. This actuates stoppage of loom. The drive for the
lower electrode can wither be taken from the loom bottom shaft
or from an independent motor mounted suitably.
Advantages
● Positive & quick
detection of broken/slack warp end results in a better quality
fabric
● Eliminations complex adjustments of Mechanical Warp Stop
Motion and electrical contact area limitations of
conventional electrical Warp Stop Motion
● The indicator is provided to attract the operator's attention
for immediate rectification
● More number of looms can be allotted per weaver. This
increases production per weaver
● Maintenance required is negligible

Optical Weft Feeler Type
PT - 2 :
● Specially developed to replace
mechanical and electrical feelers to get contact less sensing of
weft yarn over
the pirns
● It does not require any pirn preparations like fixing of
reflective tape on pirns or making a slot over it
● Suitable for single shuttle auto pirn changing looms
The sensing head comprise of a
light transmitter, light receiver & an amplifier circuit.
Modulated light falls on the pirn and is reflected. Receivers
encased in the same module senses the reflected light. The
control circuit differentiates the presence or absence of weft.
In the case of absence of weft, it actuates pirn changing
mechanism through a solenoid
Advantages :
● The pirns do not require any preparations like fixing of
reflective tape, perforation or a metallic sleeve
● Installation is very easy
● It is suitable as a substitute for imported feelers
